Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Introduces Hancock, Bishop, and Trestle

Ashland, AL: Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. is excited to announce the three new door styles in Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF): Hancock, Bishop and Trestle. Hancock will be available in the Select Series and Wellborn Closets. Bishop and Trestle are available in Select Series, Premier Series, Wellborn Closets, Estate Collection and Elegant Bath Collection. These three door styles are a 5-piece Full Overlay Medium Density Fiberboard with a standard Slab Drawer Front, as well as, Classic Drawer Front Option. The paint and paints with glazes availability will follow current Medium Density Fiberboard finishes for each series or brand. The advantage of using MDF is the ability to paint the MDF to produce a smooth, quality surface on the cabinetry. Paint has grown to be 40% demand in the kitchen and bath selection. These new door styles are available as of October 5, 2015.

Ashland, AL: Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. is excited to announce a new finish called Onyx. Onyx is a black paint that will be available with and without Finish Techniques. Using finish techniques, on Onyx, helps incorporate the natural color of the wood. Onyx will be available in the Select Series, Premier Series, Wellborn Closets, Estate Collection and Elegant Bath Collection. The Onyx finish will be offered on Maple, Character Maple, Oak, Cherry, Character Cherry and Hickory. It will be available on September 21, 2015.

Ashland, AL: Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. is pleased to announce that Shadow and Shadow Charcoal will now be featured in the Select Series. Bringing these stains and stains with glazes to the Select Series opens up room for more designs, at different price levels. Shadow is a dark gray stain topped with a low sheen. For a touch of detail, Shadow Charcoal, which is the same Shadow stain, is finished off with a black Charcoal glaze. These stains and stains with glazes will be available on Cherry, Maple, Oak and Hickory. Shadow and Shadow Charcoal are available in the Select Series as of September 21, 2015.

Bringing these stains to the Select Series opens up room for more designs at different price levels. Drift is a transparency gray stain finish topped with a low sheen. Drift Slate, which is the same Drift stain, is finished off with a gray Slate glaze. These stains will be offered on Cherry, Maple, Oak and Hickory. These two full overlay door styles have a flat veneer arch or square center panel. The Classic Drawer Front Option has solid wood center panels. This enhancement is in effect as of August 31, 2015.
