Wellborn Cabinet and a panel of the top industry designers have chosen three of the best small kitchen designs from the past year and an Honorable Mention from our Small Kitchen 2020-2021 Design Contest winners.

1st Place Design Contest Winner – Jessica Flores
From the Builder: “It was so exciting to work with a young, professional couple that had a vision for modern industrial. The first line of action was to knock out the low ceiling and vault the kitchen area to match the dining room and open the partition wall. We did just that and this little modern industry gem fast became one of our favorite transformations to date!”

From the Builder: “The clients wanted a complete kitchen overhaul that coordinated with the home’s existing vintage style, but also brought a modern sensibility when it cam e to technology and functionality. We replaces the outdated cabinets with the more sleek design of the Harmony door style that made it possible to add a little more storage space while keeping the galley plan feeling bright and open!”

From the Builder: “Our clients wanted a kitchen that was light and bright and what better way to do that than with shades of white! We installed crisp white countertops and with a subtle pale gray wall, they can now enjoy an inviting, open, modern space that still flows with the rest of their beautiful home!”

Honorable Mention 2020-2021 Design Contest Winner – Jessica Flores
From the Builder: “After a sudden water line break in the kitchen of this young couple’s home, we were called in to the rescue! The clients loved the idea of showing off their unique New Orleans style home so we decided to go with bold, black cabinetry, white marbled quartz, and accented it with teal glass backsplash!”
